See the Monolith, an impressive block of granite cut in 1837 for the design of a Napoleon 1st statue in Ajaccio.

This granite is characterized by large honey-yellow crystals, the mica is riddled with inclusions in all shades of green, this set of diverse crystals is enveloped by felspar and quartz. It measures on average 17.36 meters in length and has a diameter of 2.74 meters.
